THE FINAL CUBE

The main specificity of this building is that it is a continuation of THE CUBE complex. With the villa located at the other end of the complex, it will make a unique compositional unit. Goal when positioning the building was to create a harmonious composition, which will visually complete the future complex. A special detail adds to the openness to the Bay of Kotor. According to the configuration of the terrain, strive for the building to be unobtrusively integrated into the terrain, so that most of the building is dug in and so the maximum number of floors is not used. With the position it has, the building got its intimacy, which was achieved by the cantilever part of the pool and terrace on the first floor. The pool is oriented so that it has a full view of the bay, and around it is organized content for relaxation. In the layout of the volume, the house looks like a square hovering above the ground, but it is actually located above the dug in ground floor, which has been withdrawn, so it can be visually seen as a retaining wall. In this way, harmony was achieved, and the horizontal line that permeates the entire neighboring complex, with which it forms a unit, was emphasized. Observing the macro plan and compiling this building together with the future complex as a unit, one can notice its unobtrusiveness, good fit, but also the completion of the entire composition. On the micro level, looking back at the object itself, one gets the impression of its impressiveness, with emphasized dynamics of form.
